I...Sarah, I found you through my cousin, Farmwife. I've been reading for awhile now, but am just commenting for the first time today. I used to be a teacher before moving to Canada. What you wrote reminded me of a 6th grader I had once. Everyone warned me about this boy - a twelve year old who was burly and big and already shaving. Even my principal sat me down to tell me all of his misdeeds from the year before. Well, when I met him, I loved him from the start, and saw that most of his misdeeds were really just misunderstandings. He would challenge me every so often, just to see if I still cared enough to address him and the issue, or if I was going to throw the towel in and just send him to the office. I never had to send him to the office, and he and his family became my biggest fans. I think what you did with that little one will stay in his heart (and his family's heart) for always. Kids like that so desperately need someone to love on them, give them some grace and understanding, and simply accept them. You did that, and they noticed. Way to go! I like your writing.Inklinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02775312085301951675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4646749189327464337.post-5177990785273549412007-01-28T18:44:00.000+00:002007-01-28T18:44:00.000+00:00I just thought that if I tell people I know about ...I just thought that if I tell people I know about my blog then maybe I wouldn't be so honest. I want to be able to moan or be sad, be proud of things I've done, without worrying whether friends/family will worry about me, be hurt, think I'm showing off. This way I can really be me - warts and all .Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01317766743752185380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4646749189327464337.post-79977311617280390032007-01-28T16:00:00.000+00:002007-01-28T16:00:00.000+00:00What a nice-everything.
