Sunday Sketches

This is a sketch I did of an old water mill that we visited. I spent about 20 minutes on it and then copied it to watercolour it. To see more sketches please visit Sophia's Sunday Sketches.

This is the original building.

I think the watercolour spoils it and its not loose enough. Still working on getting watercolour right!!!

Sunday Sketches.

This week for Sunday Sketches I actually dragged myself out with my sketch book to draw. I was so inspired by the lovely comments that I received last week that I thought the least I could do was to go and draw something new!! So I have done three - hope that's ok.

The first is a little face from my imagination
The second is a dancer, again from my imagination, but just roughly scribbled. She's not quite right, but I like bits of her!

And the last one is a sketch of the pot on my water feature in my garden - again quite rough - took about 5 - 10 minutes in the sunshine.

For more Sunday Sketches - please visit Sophia's Blue Chair Diary - and enjoy!!!

Sunday Sketches

Just a quickie as I have just discovered Sunday Sketches over at the lovely Sophia's blog, Blue Chair Diary.I love sketching, but haven't for a while. Maybe a sketch every Sunday will inspire me? Here is one I did last Summer - I hope that counts... Please go to Sophia's blog to see more sketches from other people and maybe enter a sketch yourself?
