Hello................

Hello! I have just come back from a run which I did in record time ( yippee) I've had a long lovely shower and I am feeling smug ! My man is out on a school trip with son#1, son#2 is at school and I have 20 minutes to myself to write what I want . I do love my boys, but it is really rather nice to have "me" time too. Know what I mean ?

I had a call today from my cousin in the Lake District. She asked us up there for Easter a while ago and I phoned back to say we couldn't make the dates she mentioned. Well, I didn't hear from her and I thought "Oh well, its not to be. " And I didn't want to push our presence onto her. ( She has 3 young girls and a busy life ) So I was really happy to hear from her saying they'd love to have us whenever we could make it. Great !!

They live right in the countryside with lots of land for the kids to play, ponies and so on. And she and I get on very well. So, that's our plan - the long drive up and then lots of walks, talks and wine. I hope.

I have a busy week this week with all sorts of stuff planned. I'll write about it all and show you photos later in the week.

I'll let you in to a secret - don't tell anyone, but ............

its my birthday next Sunday........................

I love birthdays, but somewhere a mistake has happened in God's calculations. It says on my profile that I am 42, soon to be 43. There has to be a mistake because I feel about 10. Still, I suppose that's better than feeling 110. I think that 42/43 is a pretty good age. And I have all my own teeth.

I never would have thought you were 42. Such a young heart, I can tell! I'm envious of the area you get to see all the time. If I drove out into the country here, all I'd see are cows and trees.
