heading home
a blackbirds nest in the hedge
We went for a lovely geocache walk this afternoon - having scoffed roast beef, yorkshire puds et al. I could say the walk was idyllic, but, to be honest, the boys really got on my nerves.Isn't that terrible? Not all the time, but its like they had Spring fever - just mad and after a while it starts to wear a little thin!
Still, we got 3 caches, although the third was a complete accident. We had found 2 and then lost our way and had decided to just walk. Lo and behold son#2 just spotted the 3rd in a hedgerow! Fab.
I am getting used to my new hair cut. Maybe I don't look like a bloke after all. I really have no idea what I look like. My self image is way off and I don't know what other people think of me. Not that it matters. Anyway, am just off to help son #1 with the mixer as he is making his pear flan again. Then I plan to settle down with hubby and a large glass of red to watch Dancing on Ice.

Sounds like a wonderful day. Children can be trying sometime. Mine are in their thirties and still get on my nerves.
Would love to see your haircut. I cut mine myself. I was brave enough today to show a picture of me.
Hi Gail.
I don't have many photos of me as its always me with the camera taking shots of everyone else! I will try to get the boys to take one of me later.S
ps off to see your new haircut now!
Sounds like a glorious Sunday!
I must look into this geocache, it sounds like good fun, maybe without the kids! I've had short hair for years. It saves a lot of time fussing in the mornings! x
