Happy Christmas week everyone! I am sitting on my sofa with my feet up, feeling really rather full. I did attempt to start my diet today, but I have failed miserably.I weighed myself this morning and I am still 7 pounds lighter than I was this time last year, but I have eaten too much, drunk too much and generally have been a complete slob for the last few weeks.
Christmas has passed in a haze of warmth, sleep, candles and games. I have regained my title of 'cornflake box game'champion and was thrilled to do so. Last year I lost my title to my son and thought that old age had condemned me to fail in this challenge, however I have fought my way back.
The game involves taking turns to pick up a cereal box in one's teeth. After each round the box is cut down until eventually it is only a flat piece of card on the floor.You are not allowed to touch the floor with any part of your body other than your feet.I managed to get to the final with my son and beat him by picking up the final piece in 13 seconds. Oh yes!! I am sickeningly competitive!!
