Back from skiing in Austria.

I have not been on my blog for a week. The reason for this is a very long awaited holiday. We booked a skiing holiday over a year ago and have been counting down the days to it ever since. When my Man and I were young and carefree we went skiing a lot. We even thought about going to work in a ski resort, but ended up being too chicken!

My Man is a good skier. He flies down any slope, finds jumps and has no fear. I am a reasonable skier as long as I can see where I am going. I do, however, have a reputation amongst those who know me, for spending quite a lot of time sobbing down slopes when I can't see where I am going...

I am safe, steady and completely without any nerve... By that I don't mean I am brave, I mean I am a scaredy cat.Anyway, it doesn't really matter. What matters is we had a lovely time and the best bit was being together as a family.

The boys have skied once before when they were 4 and 6. Now, 7 years later they were amazing - brave, safe, controlled. I really would have liked to stay in the mountains for ever. They are just beautiful - as you can see...

Photos are stunningly beautiful. What a view! THanks for sharing your holiday. NOt quite like being on holiday, but still. Love those pics. You are brave to ski at all. I have never and probably won't at this age. I'm not wild about snow but we had more than our share here in Ohio this year.
Blessings. Happy you got home safely.
