Fantastic news today!!! The BBC journalist Alan Johnston is free. He has been held in solitary confinement for 114 days, but was released today. I have followed this story since his kidnap in Gaza and have been touched by his family and friends, not to mention his colleagues at the BBC, who would not let his story die. It is rather lovely in this world of ours to have some good news.
