I went for a run today for the first time since before my hols. It felt good to be out, even though I am very unfit. I just did a couple of miles and I can't wait to go out again. I want to start doing some sit ups and press ups as well.
I also cleaned out my fish tank today. That, I can tell you is a mammoth task. They really are revolting. The water stays crystal clear, but the glass becomes covered in algae. Yuk. I put off cleaning for ages, but today they got the full treatment and are looking gorgeous !!
I also cooked a mean chilli. What on earth is wrong with me ??
I am putting any worries about my Man's work behind me. I am so lucky in so many ways and I am not going to worry about stuff that has not happened yet. If you read this, Inkling or Farm Wife then I hope things are ok with you. Your comment, Inkling, made me think. You are having a way much tougher time than me. Keep your chin up.
I had a lovely snuggle with my boys tonight. I am so lucky - they are just adorable. Yes, I am lucky.

Thank you for your kind words and thoughts. Things are still uncertain though my husband did find a 2-month trial of a job (they let him work for 2 months and evaluate to see if they want to keep him), but they are going to be okay eventually. I checked my post office box in the States today (I am just across the Canadian border from Washington State), and found that some anonymous person had sent us a monetary gift. Everything was type written, and I couldn't read the postmark, so I really have no idea who sent it. Mysteriously enough, I got an email last week from someone signing off as God telling me to check my post office box. It was a huge shock, and one that really lifted my spirits and reminded me that things really will be okay eventually.
I have no idea what the future holds for us, but somehow I'm finding peace and rest that are not naturally from me. And for that, I'm grateful.
I hope you have peace and rest too, even if you did have to endure a rainy vacation. And I hope things go well with your husband's work in the end. Blessings to you!
