Tonight I am tired and in need of those photos below of white sands and sunshine. I can't remember the last time I felt the warm sun on me as I lay totally relaxed, listening to the waves breaking on the shore, sifting the sand through my finger tips.
These days it always seems to be cold and grey. I rush from one place to the next, worrying about money or the lack of it. My house is a dump because I am never here, but the little time I am here I don't want to have to spend hours cleaning and tidying.
The world is a frightening place at the moment. Who would have thought, only a short time ago, that we would all be in this mess ? I am so grateful that my Man still has his job, even though things are rocky. I am grateful that I have my Man and my children. I am grateful that I have my job and that I love it. I am grateful that after nearly 3 years of blogging I am still in contact with some special people.
If you are out there feeling tired with life, tired with the relentless awfulness of struggling to have enough money, of fighting to keep going.... I know this sounds trite, but we will all get through this. We just have to stick together, look after our friends and neighbours, notice the drawn faces and reach out to comfort. A smile and a kind word goes a long way...
