Happiness....

Isn't it strange how true this is ? As I woke from my day of self pity and misery I went to work determined to think only of others. This may sound trite, but I have learned, over the years, that one of the best ways to make yourself feel better, happier, is to spend ones time being kind to others, making others feel good about themselves. And sure enough, by mid morning I found myself smiling and laughing without having to think about it.

I can't talk about it here because I have to keep the work side of my life private, but suffice to say there is nothing quite like my work and the people I work with to bring a smile to ones face.

The other day was an odd day, mainly because my Man and I just happened to both be miserable at the same time. Usually, if one of us falls into the swamp of unhappiness, the other is there to haul them out. This time we floundered together. I hope that I am back on track now. I used to feel like that a lot - now its a rare occurrence, thank goodness. At least I have learned the way to get myself out of it.And, happily, my Man is seeming much happier too !!
