How cool!! The only time you want to be woken up at 6.50 in the morning is when your Head Teacher is phoning to let you know there's no school today!! I was quite sensible for about 20 minutes - saying that we must all wrap up warm, have breakfast and then we would go out. Then I came to my senses and we just got togged up and got out there to enjoy it!!
Its not often we have that much snow and we were over the road in the valley where I run by 7.50am!! First ones there - running in the freshly fallen and still falling snow. Excellent fun!!!We ran, threw snowballs, sledged, and made snowmen.Then we came back for hot chocolate and French toast.
We plan to go back out later. Yippeeeeee!!!

I am jealous! It is sunny and quite lovely today...and that makes me a bit sad, as it is February, and I want snow!!!!! HEAPS of snow...

I love those pictures, they are really beautiful!! And I am jealous too. We had like two snowflakes, yesterday, fighting about which would fall on the ground and melt first. And that's it! I want snow and days off too!!
My OH was home and managed to get a few snow pics, I wish I could have done. You must be pleased with how yours turned out, they are really good, and a great memory of this quite unusual occurrence. x
Aha! Finally got to see the blog of the anonymous lady who leaves nice messages on my blog but who's own I couldn't see!
I love the snow too; sadly we only had 2 days of it & only 1 day off work!
