Bad backs, Thai red curry and the Olympics....all in one day!

this is not my curry...... just a photo of someone elses that looks a bit like mine!!

I am sitting at my computer recovering from the red Thai curry I just cooked.I love curry, but this was HOT!! Not my usual style at all! I am dosed up with painkillers and anti-inflammatories in the hope that my back will get better. It seems to be getting there slowly, thank goodness. I am not good with pain.

The boys have spent most of the day involved in a mini Olympics that they devised. This included running, jumping, scootering, bowls and various other competitions. They have had such a lovely time and it has been great to see them enjoying each others company so much.

It is very frustrating not to be able to do the things I usually do. Just getting up from a chair, turning over in bed or walking about has been hard. I think I can feel an improvement today so it won't be long before I am doing what I usually do. Sitting still is not my bag!!

Sorry to hear you have a bad back; I see a chiropractor every 3 months for maintenance on mine & occasionally treat myself to a valium of a Friday night (fine if you have no children)I imagine it would be loads better if I remembered to do the exercises, but my chiropractor is so attractive I kind of enjoy the visits...

So I feel your pain sarah; it's annoying you can never get comfy enough to forget about it - payback for the footy dya think? There's a penalty for everything. (boom boom)

I am glad you are a little better. Glad the children played well and let you rest.

A couple of days and you will be back in the saddle again.
