An English country garden...

This evening I sat in my garden drinking a glass of cold cider, looking at my plants and I thought I would take some photos. When we first moved into this house the garden was bare and so every plant you can see was planted by me. I know its not a Chelsea Flower Show garden, but I love sitting in it, smelling the flowers, watching all the bees and birds and listening to my little water feature burbling away. When I think back at the dry, sad little desert it was when we moved in I think we have done a jolly good job!! Even though I do say so myself!!

Your garden is lovely, and you must feel so proud that you converted a desert to your secret garden.

I love the photos with the bee. It's so nice to sit in the garden.

I love your garden and can understand why you like sitting in it. This is a lovely time of year with so much happening. Your garden is for sitting in. each year the plants are like old friends coming back to visit, I think!
