I love life !!!

I have just come in from my garden where I have been potting up geraniums. Its been a long day at work and I've got a cold, but I really wanted to get them in before they popped their clogs. The garden is beginning to look quite nice - although it never looks exactly as I want it to.

I've had a busy few days. On Sunday I ran my first race in ages. Years. It was a 10k race through beautiful countryside, beautiful sunny weather. Of course, when I say "run" I don't mean "run" in the strictest sense of the word. It was more a run and walk thing. But, hey, considering the weekend before I was limping about like an old crone because of my gammy hip, I was pretty chuffed to even finish. Thank goodness for anti-inflammatory drugs - that's all I can say !! My friend S ran with me. Actually past me and off into the distance, but it was a great day and I'm so glad we did it together. She was at the end with her husband and family cheering me in, which was lovely.

I have been pretty into the Bebo site recently. If you click on the badge down below a bit you will go through to my page. If I spend any more time on this computer my bottom will meld with the chair. Not a nice thought. Still, at the moment I am a happy bunny. Tomorrow I'm going for coffee and cake with my friend Gorgeous Bird 1 ( or GB1 as I call her ) I'm certainly looking forward to that as work has been so hectic - we barely have time to say hello.

I love life being busy. When I was limping about last week it really struck me how quickly things can go wrong. I want to keep running, swimming, gardening - doing all the things I love. I am such a lucky person.
