Sports Day, Harry Potter and running.

Well, what an eventful week. I was just about to go to bed and I thought I would check my blog. I have been a little negectful recently, following my crappy week. Yes, Joshua, my blog is still alive !! If a little poorly. I have been feeling a little sorry for myself, but hey, what's new ?!

So, what have I been up to this week ? Good things and bad things, but, for a pleasant change I will tell you about the good. I taught on Friday - all day- as my teacher was sick. Everything went well until a slight panic at the end of the day. One of the little girls was feeling under the weather so I told her to have a little lie down in the quiet area until her mum came to pick her up. I kept checking on her and soon she was fast asleep. Home time came and could I wake her ? NO !! Oh, good grief !! I thought. I've been telling Jack and the Beanstalk stories whilst one of my children is in a coma in the corner. PANIC!! I called the wonderful GB1, my friend from the next door class, in to help, and, thank goodness the little one was just in one of those heavy " I feel rotten " sleeps. Phew!!

I went for a run on Sunday morning which nearly killed me. How have I gone from being able to run 5 miles, 3 times a week, easily, to being a big lump who can just about manage 1 mile on a good day with a following wind ? Still, at least I went out.

Saturday night we all went to see the new Harry Potter film. I enjoyed it a lot. Can't wait for the book to come out this weekend.

And today was Sports Day. I love Sports Day ! My class were excellent - they all ran and were really well behaved. Great ! My boys were fantastic - 2 gorgeous sporty fellas who I love with all my heart.

And now I'm running out of steam - so I'm off to bed, chaps. N' night.

I think I would have a complete break down if a child in my care wouldn't wake up...That's happened once or tiwce when my kids were very ill & it terrified me!

Hope you're all rested up now.

Scary.

BTW - I'm back! Missed you terribly.

Also, thanks for the comments you left for my "guest blogger." Because of you she was inspired to start her own blog! It's called Mums the word and she left a link on my blog. She is a great writer, very in touch with her emotions . . . think you would enjoy it.

Hi, sarah! Thanks for stopping in at my new blog! I am glad you did, it linked me to yours! I read a few of your posts and hope you are hanging in there. Sounds like you have family drama going on too. I think you did the right thing with your mum. Doing the right thing is often the hardest, but someday you'll be glad you did. Take care!JJ

I'm so glad to see you're back! I missed you!

Don't worry...I can't run 5 miles...I usually walk/run for 30 minutes (2.5 miles) and stop.

Take care and sleep good!
