Tired men and nosy women........

I had the most delicious chicken, mayo, avocado and crispy bacon roll ( with a lovely granary baguette ) today. My Man took me to lunch and it was delicious, delicious, delicious !! My Man was a bit miserable though. He is working tonight and what with me up at 6am and then the children at 7.30 am, trooping up and down stairs, he didn't sleep enough. He stayed in bed until 10.30, but he cannot sleep once he's woken up. Years of shift work I suppose has ruined him.

It is so frustrating for him and usually he copes very well, but when he doesn't he is miserable. It doesn't help having 2 boys who have no concept at all of needing sleep. But then, why should they ? They are 8 and 9 and can sleep when they want !! It does scare me though, that one night he might fall asleep at the wheel coming home. Shudder.

Moving rapidly on...... I was wondering, having read Farm Wife's post on blogging, well, I was wondering how long everybody had been into blogging and how did you get into it ? I have been doing it since New Year's Eve 2006 on my own blog and before that I posted on my uncle's blog. It was only when I realised that the family blog was in danger of looking like my own personal blog that I thought perhaps it was time to start my own !!

So let me know eh ?

  • How long you've been blogging ?
  • How did you start ?

I am a bit nosy aren't I ?

I started blogging, hum, autumn 2006, so not long before you did...
It started with people telling me that my pictures looked nice and I wanted to share them somehow... I was nosing through blogger when I saw a photo-blog and after thinking about it some time I created my own ;-)
VoilĂ  :-)

I had to go back and look. It was July 2005. I had a cousin and a friend who had blogs and they encouraged me to do it.

Well, let me see . . .

I started blogging in October of 2006. So that makes it about a year for me, and of course I started because of knitting. Not very sexy, but fun none the less.

PS - missed you while I was gone!
