It seems a long time ago that my big boys were as tiny as this... but they are still my babies, and tonight, New Year's Eve, we are snuggled together, having a quiet evening in. My Man is working, poor thing.We have had an amazing year.... mostly good times, with some fantastic times interspersed. I look back at 2008 and feel proud and happy at the things we have achieved. I completed the London Marathon, a lifelong dream and I still gaze at my medal with pride.
I look to a less certain future, but we have each other and we have our health. And really, that is all I can ask for. I am so lucky in so many ways.
I wish you a Happy New Year and I hope that 2009 brings you health, happiness and contentment. Happy New Year !!!
