The sun makes a massive difference to this little old housewife... My friend asked me over to play tennis today and I couldn't believe my luck as we played doubles this afternoon.The sun was shining, we were in the middle of the English countryside, with only the chirrup of birds and the thwack of a tennis ball to interrupt proceedings.
I felt like a "lady who lunches" as we sat and drank tea before going to pick up the boys from school. And this evening I am listening to my friend Jimmy, who is singing on Radio 2. His voice is beautiful.

I, too, love tennis in the summer. i just love summer and the sun shining on my face is sometimes all i need to be happy.
Oh yes... I am with you there, Sue. We don't get too many chances for sun on the face over here so I make the most of any good weather!!S
