A trip to Wild Wales for Secret Housewife.

Tomorrow I am driving to Cardiff to meet my new nephews. They are 6 weeks old now and this will be the first time that I meet them. They are triplets... identical twins and their brother. It is just as well that I am embarking on this adventure to meet them because I am close to going stir crazy...

We are going as a family to meet them and I think we all need the trip out... The holidays started last week and I am sinking in a mire of apathy. I had planned to get up early and study or garden my allotment, but I am finding it very difficult to haul myself out of bed at 7.30 am when I know that it is not compulsory...I have been studying, at least an hour a day, but I don't have the keys to the allotment yet so the digging and tidying part is out of the question...

The weather here is dull but warm and conspires with the lack of routine to dull my senses and create a grumpy monster that threatens to replace my usually warm and enthusiastic personality. Although, to be honest, a warm and enthusiastic personality can get really rather annoying, as I'm sure you can imagine...

So... Cardiff here we come.Boys... here we come... My Mum keeps phoning to tell me that I must take my own sleeping bags, pillows... that I must not sit down at all during the visit, but be, at all times, available for work duties. My brother, wonderful as he is, is her absolute favourite and she is determined that I should spend my time ironing, washing up, cleaning. I had, actually, planned to do all these things as having 3 babies under the age of 7 weeks probably involves quite a bit of hard work and possibly the odd sleepless night...

She probably, however, does not need to keep phoning me to tell me to do these things as I am now 46 with kids of my own.Still, I will not let her down. I plan on being the best auntie in the world to these 3 little chaps, but in return I am expecting quite a lot of cuddles.I think that's a fair  deal, don't you??

Wow, triplets - they are going to have their hands full! How lovely, hope you enjoy your trip and get lots of cuddles - I'm sure all your help will be greatly appreciated. Have to say I love being an auntie and it's so cute how my boys look after their little baby cousin! By the way, just looked at your welsh dresser - it's amazing! Well done, beautiful transformation!
